AGREEMENT FOR LIMITED LEGAL SERVICES BETWEEN YOU AND THE LAW OFFICE OF BRIAN V POWERS (this “AGREEMENT”)
This Agreement is provided by The Law Office of Brian V. Powers, an Indiana based law practice managed by licensed Indiana attorney, Brian V. Powers (“BVPLegal”). This Agreement will govern your use of the limited legal services that are provided via this website (“Online Legal Services”), including all content provided on this website and via access to the Online Legal Services.
Please be advised that an attorney-client relationship is not created by filling out this this form and creating an account with this website. Upon creating an account, an electronic conflict check will be performed. For example, if we have already advised your business partner on a matter, or for any other reason set forth in the Indiana Rules of Professional Conduct, we will deny you as a client. If the conflict check returns no conflicts, you will be notified via email that you have been accepted as a client, and at that point the attorney-client relationship will commence. In the event that you have been denied as a client, any payment recieved via this website for Online Legal Services will be fully refunded promptly.
By providing you with Online Legal Services, BVPLegal has not agreed to attend a hearing or trial on your behalf or provide any legal services extending beyond those services which you have purchased and we have agreed to provide. When you purchase Online Legal Services, we only provide limited legal assistance and document preparation and review. After performing the services purchased by you, we have no further obligation to you. Unless expressly included in the Online Legal Services you purchase, it is not our responsibility to ensure that any forms are properly or timely filed, nor is it our responsibility to ensure you comply with any laws or local legal procedures, nor are any filing fees included. You are making no commitment to use our services at any time in the future. We do not promise or guarantee any particular outcome.
During the provision of Online Legal Services, we will make no further investigation of the facts and we rely entirely on you to provide facts when completing an Online Legal Services questionnaire.
